Vow Renewal Ceremony Officiant
For couples who are already legally married
Glenn officiates a personalised symbolic ceremony at your chosen Nassau venue. No marriage licence required. No government paperwork of any kind. Glenn writes the ceremony script specifically for your milestone.
For couples getting legally married in the Bahamas
Glenn officiates the legal ceremony as a Licensed Marriage Officer. Fee varies by day and time of day. The officiant fee covers the ceremony only. Legal documentation (licence, affidavits) is added separately below.
Required for all legal weddings, not for vow renewals
The Bahamas government charges $100 for the marriage licence application and $20 for the certified copy of the marriage certificate. Glenn prepares all documents, schedules and attends the Registrar General's appointment, and collects the licence the next day.

Vow Renewal officiant: $475 weekdays, $575 Sunday. Legal wedding officiant: $475 weekdays before 3pm, $650 weekdays after 3pm, $750 Saturday or Sunday. Nearby island: $900 plus travel. All USD before 10% Bahamas VAT. $200 non-refundable booking fee also required.

Do I need a marriage licence for a vow renewal in the Bahamas?
No. A vow renewal is a symbolic ceremony for couples already legally married. No marriage licence, no government appointment, no affidavit, and no legal registration of any kind is required.
Only the officiant fee ($475 weekdays or $575 Sunday) and the $200 non-refundable booking fee are required for a vow renewal. The government fees (marriage application $100, certified copy $20, affidavit $95) apply only to legal weddings where a new marriage licence must be obtained. What is the difference between the Apostille ($120) and Procurement of Apostille ($125)?
Both are Apostille certification services. The $120 option covers the Apostille stamp on the certified copy of the marriage certificate in approximately 5 business days. The $125 Procurement of Apostille is the service fee Glenn charges for managing the Apostille application process with the Bahamian Secretary of State's office on the couple's behalf.
In practice, most couples selecting Apostille services will select both: the certified copy first ($20) and then either the Apostille stamp ($120) or the full procurement service ($125) depending on what Glenn advises for their specific country's requirements. Why is the booking fee non-refundable?
The $200 non-refundable booking fee covers Glenn's initial work: document preparation, ceremony script drafting, vendor outreach, and holding your date exclusively in his calendar. It is deducted from your total service cost, not an additional charge.
Glenn begins work immediately when a booking is submitted. Documents are prepared, vendors are contacted, and the ceremony date is blocked. This preparation work is not reversible if the booking is cancelled, which is why the booking fee is non-refundable. The total amount payable is the sum of all services selected, including the $200 fee, not the services plus $200 on top.
